When we allow our fear to exist within us as a destructive force, cutting us off from experiencing our full vitality, we surrender to the DRAGONS we’ve created. Over the next several weeks, join us as we transform our Dragons of fear into movement towards our greatest good. November 10 – Fear Not!Many in this country are expressing fear of the future and pointing blame at others over the results of the 2024 Presidential Election. Rev. Gina uses a guided meditation and insights from Jose Stevens’ Transforming Your Dragons to redirect that seemingly overwhelming feeling of fear into peace, empowerment, faith, and joy. November 17 – Fear Ain’t Nothing But a DragonRev. Gina introduces Jose Stevens’ seven dragons and reminds us, through storytelling, that running from our fears only makes them grow. To overcome our fears, we must face them, and when we do, they whither away. November 24 – Gratitude For DragonsThe first two dragons, Arrogance and Self-Deprecation, are introduced in this third week of transforming our fear dragons. Stepping through the phases of life that developed our dragons, we learn what weapons can be used to slay the dragons. Acknowledging that each dragon has a positive and negative polarity, we explore how to transform our dragons into allies. December 1 – Meet Your DragonsMoving into the next two fear dragons of Impatience and Martyrdom, Rev. Gina continues to walk through the book Transforming Your Dragons by Jose Stevens. Sharing Stevens’ insights on how our dragons developed, what tools are needed to transform them, and ultimately how to slay them, the fear and upheaval present before the first Christmas are paralleled to current events. December 8 – Dragon PancakesThe fifth and sixth dragons, Greed and Self-Destruction, hit hard as Rev. Gina continues stepping through the next two fear dragons from Jose Stevens’ book Transforming Your Dragons. Both of these dragons tug at the heart-strings and remind us all that having a good support system is critical when working through your dragon.
