Garden Path
Looking for a new path?

We are a non-denominational, New Thought spiritual community of faith and fellowship, committed to the idea that the power of love can transform our beings and renew the face of the Earth. Our members come from a rich diversity of spiritual traditions, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. We welcome all of the LGBTQ+ community into our family. We value all without judgement, guilt, or shame. Our differences make us beautiful! Together we help each other along our unique paths to live loving, joyful lives. Our desire to enjoy a direct experience of God is intrinsic to life. As we practice fellowship, prayer, and service together, we fulfill our destiny: To awaken to Spirit, present in all of us, the true source of our being.

Our Sunday morning service offers something for everybody…
Joyful Noise

Music—Joyful Noise, our resident group of singers and musicians, offers an eclectic “shuffle” of all styles of music, from traditional hymns to popular songs, gospel to Broadway.

Guided Meditation

The Sunday Message—Reverend Gina Milligan has the cure for the common sermon, combining wisdom from a wide-variety of faith traditions with practical ideas for living each day to the highest and best that we can. The messages are always uplifting, positive, and have a penchant for the unexpected. (When was the last time that you heard a sermon done partially in song?)

Guided Meditation—Escape from the pressures, tensions, and frustrations of the contemporary world and reconnect with the universal truth of God within you. Meditation is a sacred time to renew your spirit and feel your oneness with the presence of God. A time to quiet your thoughts and release the concerns of the day.

Youth Group

Toddlers, twos, and preschoolers are always welcome in the warm, loving environment of our Nursery, while school-age kids and tweens have a special place that’s all their own. During our Sunday service, the five to twelve year old set comes together in The Growing Place, a youth program that kids look forward to all week long. Discussion, prayer, music, dancing, nature walks, crafts, and more are the order of the day in this dynamic, spiritual, and fun environment. Monthly outings to a variety of cultural and recreational sites and supervised summer swimming in our campus pool add to the fun and anticipation. Rather keep your kids with you during the service? No problem: All are welcome in the sanctuary!

History buff?
Our roots

Our church traces it’s humble beginnings back to Pasadena, California. The year was 1948 when our founder was granted a charter as a new church of Religious Science. Since that time, the church has expanded to our current campus in Arcadia as an independent, non-denominational church and spiritual center. Explore the links under Our History to learn about our founder, the church design, why we display a boulder in our sanctuary, and other interesting tidbits.

Oh, and one more thing…
Tithe First Born

Pass the basket—When you visit our Sunday service, there is no need to give up your first born. Let the offering basket pass you by. Our members do an excellent job of supporting the church and its programs. So, when the basket comes your way, simply pass it on to the person next to you. This service is on us!
